LSA and Archives Support Grassroots Electronic Music Communities with The Index

London Sound Academy (LSA) have joined forces with Archives to support grassroots electronic music in London. The venue located in Tottenham, North London, boasts two rooms offering high-end electronic music programming and a varied schedule of events.

Noticing a need for affordable clubbing, both in terms of ticket prices and drinks, Archives sought to launch a night to provide a sanctuary for London's aspiring electronic music artists and supporters. Many of London's music venues are closing down at an alarming rate due to a perfect storm of rising business costs and the cost of living affecting attendance. What the scene needed was a high-quality venue at accessible prices so Archives launched The Index, touted as a space to keep the culture alive.

Archives London

To create a community-driven event, Archives has partnered with London Sound Academy to program the DJs for room one, the biggest arena in the club. The main room will focus on House, Tech and Techno delivered on a Funktion 1 sound system.

To open up the opportunity to a wider scene, LSA invited The Faded Community to co-host the room, uniting two large communities of DJs, producers and electronic music fans. Furthermore, room two will be hosted by Caveman Collective, bringing a mix of Drum & Bass and Jungle. This triad of tribes is sure to prove a winning formula, bringing a friendly vibe where electronic music fans from all corners of London as respected and celebrated.

The Index has created a space for these communities to thrive, grow and foster new connections, without breaking the bank. Tickets at just £3 and drinks prices slashed to 2 doubles for £12 and a can of beer for £3.50.

In addition, the event promises to showcase the best of the venue's production prowess with Sound Services primed to deliver what is promised to be a one of a kind visual and sonic experience for all attendees.
