Ben

For all levels

Ben's a passionate teacher with a wealth of DJing and production experience gathered whilst touring across the UK & Europe. During his DJ sets, he often plays his own tracks guaranteeing an original experience for the listener. He's had multiple releases including labels such as Data Transmission’s sister label Shanghied amongst others, with big label deals on the horizon. He also runs his own brand/record label DOMUS Music, which has signed artist like Anék, George Smeddles, Tommy Vercetti, Will Taylor and more. Catch him DJ’ing at Sankeys and Eden in Ibiza. Ministry of Sound, Egg LDN, Lightbox, Fire, We Are FSTVL and the Studio 338 terrace to name a few for brands such as Abode and Viva Warriors. Also previously appeared on Rinse FM.

Ollie

For all levels

Ollie has been a fixture on the London clubbing scene for the last 10 years and has garnered a hole host of accolades along the way. He's an alumni of Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings, has original releases on Kerri chandler affiliated label King Street Sound / Real Nice, and hosts monthly radio shows on Radar Radio and Balamii. His extensive record collection represents his eclectic taste, but, his speciality in tutoring lies in house, hip-hop, grime and garage. Ollie is also a producer with many vinyl releases under his belt signed to a wide range of record labels. He was recently aired on BBC Radio One.

Olmo

Suitable for Advanced learners

Olmo, originally from Italy, has been DJing and producing since the early 2000s. He initially started his DJ career mastering turntablism and mixed Hip-Hop, Reggae and Dancehall. Later, he specialised in Techno and over the years he has developed a great wealth of knowledge about all genres both in their performance and teaching. This huge range of knowledge and techniques makes him one of the most experienced tutors at London Sound Academy.

He has performed at some of the best venues in the UK including Ministry of Sound, Egg, Brixton Jamm, O2 Academy, Light Box, Cafe1001, Corsica Studios, Werkhaus and more.

Olmo teaches all levels of our DJ courses at LSA including the Elite DJ Course. He also teaches music production with Ableton.

Paul

For all levels

Paul is a Producer/DJ from London, Who has been in & around the music industry for many years & has/is played in a wide variety of bands, with the Bass guitar, which he picked up at 13 years old. From touring all over America at 19, playing & recording with legends such as ROXY MUSIC, playing Mainstage at Festivals such as Lovebox amongst others, alongside Producing, which some of his work has been played on BBC Radio 1. This, alongside Djing at London nightspots such as Old Street Recs, Cargo, XOYO, Village Underground & many others!

Takahiko

Suitable for Advanced learners

Takahiko DJ Takaki is a London-based Japanese DJ and music producer.His musicality and presence have had significant global impact, ranging from the most important underground music scene to top-level art projects. In 2020, Arts Council England granted a “Tier 1 Global Talent” to Takahiko DJ Takaki after their rigorous assessment of his visa application. This means that Arts Council England thoughtfully evaluated his career and considered his artistic potential deserving of such a visa. The Tier 1 Global Talent visa is issued to a limited number of talented artists in the world. He is one of the few Japanese artists who obtained this visa. He also won awards at the world’s largest DJ contest called “DMC”.  

Takahiko DJ Takaki possesses unrivalled artistic and musical abilities, including theory,tyle, expression and vibe. Based on music theory, he is DJing in an art form by using three or four decks. In complying with requirements and rigid underground music norms, he plays primarily two different music genres - Techno and Drum & Bass - under different artist names.

MISFYA is an upcoming DJ & Producer, breaking out into everyone's radar this year with her debut EP 'SYSTEM BUG' released via SZNS7N, LCY's label. The release saw Spotify editorial support and radio support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Jaguar, Jamz Supernova, Tom Ravenscroft. Acclaimed press from Resident Advisor, with the EP landing in their 'June's Best Music 2022' list. Behind the decks, she showcases her love for everything Rave and Bass, spinning genres from; UK Funky, Breaks, Techno, Dub, Industrial to Juke, Footwork and Jungle. Quickly racking up gigs such as Keep Hush, Hope Works supporting LSDXOXO, Flesh Queer Festival and Lazarus to name a few.

Peter

Peter is a Fabric resident DJ & Producer firmly based in London’s house music scene. With his career now spanning over 15 years, countless DJ sets in the worlds most renowned venues and releases on prolific record labels Peter is one of our most experienced tutors.

Alongside his DJ sets and productions, Peter has made an imprint on the industry with his event WetYourSelf! having held a residency with Fabric for over 10 years and a record label under the same name boasting releases from huge artists such as Pig & Dan, Miss Kitten, and Axel Boman to name a few.

Alongside his solo ventures, Peter is also well known for being part of the production and live electronic duo ‘APP’ boasting releases on Dinaymic, Kindisch, Watergate and naturally on his own imprint WetYourSelf Recordings.

Erin

For advanced students

Erin is one of our most experienced tutors having worked in the music industry for over 15 years and having played at major festivals around the world. When he's not in the LSA studios, he's touring as a DJ/Producer and has released tracks on labels such as Saved Records, Kinetika, Bad Life and Balkan Recordings. Catch him in his fully analogue studio producing or on the decks at Fire.

Kieran

For all levels

Kieran's is an established international DJ with his own house and techno label, Route 1 Audio, that has multiple digital releases. He's a favourite with many of our students. He started by perfecting his craft at some of London’s biggest pirate stations hosting radio slots from the age of 16. He's performed on Heat Fm, Subjam, Pulse LDN, Rinse Fm, Hoxton FM and our own LSA Live. He DJs regularly at many of London's biggest clubs including Ministry of Sound, Egg and Scala. He teaches all levels of our DJ courses including the Elite DJ Course and also teaches music production on Logic.

Joe

For all levels

Joe, AKA Papa Nugs, has been mixing since the age of 17, very soon after which he started his career of playing clubs around the country. In the 6 years since, Joe has regularly played all over at clubs, and even festivals such as Leeds Fest and We Out Here, as well as having regular slots at venues such as Beaver Works and Mint Warehouse in Leeds. During this time he also turned his focus towards producing, and has seen his records released on Burnski’s INSTINCT imprint, Riz La Reef’s South London Pressings, Dr Banana’s Ba Dum Tish and many many more. He also has a monthly radio slot on Peckham’s Balamii station. Joe has a love for all things electronic when it comes to music (especially garage and breakbeat), but also loves hip hop, dub and soul.

Sam

Taiwan-born, American-grown music producer & DJ, better known as SHAW curates a unique style of House music influenced by the sounds of Tech-House, G-House, Electro, and Techno. SHAW has multiple cultural influences as he grew up on the east coast of the United States, and was heavily inspired to produce music after he moved to Los Angeles, California. He has also spent a year in the Techno capital of the world Berlin studying advanced audio production and recording engineering.

SHAW represents the mysterious yet direct combination of the East and West and looks to push boundaries further in the dance music world as he is making his next move to London, United Kingdom...he has released music on Warner, Vibrancy, From The Hood, Ghetto Ghetto, Teamwrk, Clubwrk, Diverge and SHAW’s music is supported by Don Diablo, Dr. Fresch, Bijou, Kage, RayRay, and many more.

Claudia

For all levels

Claudia is a songwriter, music producer and DJ. She has been working as a music industry creative for ten years and has a first-class honours degree in Creative Music Production. She has created music that has been released in collaboration with labels such as Sony RCA, BMG, Toolroom, Def Presse and Republic of Music. Her works have accumulated over 10M streams and have received extensive radio play, editorial playlisting and syncs to many films and TV shows. Last year she featured and wrote four tracks on Maya Jane Cole's new album Night Creature. This album received critical acclaim and was nominated as 'Dance Album of the Year' at BBC Radio 1's Dance Awards. She has worked with many successful artists and DJ’s, particularly in the electronic music scene. Alongside her love of electronic music, she also loves to make rock, indie, alternative and music for multimedia. As a DJ, she enjoys playing a wide range of genres depending on the mood: Techno, House, Electro, Indie & Pop. Claudia’s lessons are fun with an approachable and encouraging vibe.

Tom

Tom has a degree in audio engineering and live electronic performance. He runs his own record label and his DJ mixes can be heard through the airwaves of Rinse FM & Sticky Plastic. You’ll find him playing across some of the most prestigious underground London hot spots including, Studio 9294, The Lion & Lamb, The Yard & more. He's a super friendly and passionate tutor available for all levels.

Alex

Alex is a music production graduate with years of experience in the electronic music industry. As an electronic music enthusiast he has worked on and produced music in a wide variety of genre's but his personal passion predominately lies in techno. Alex has released on various underground labels based in both the UK and US such as 3lctro Records, Dirt, Lies & Audio Black, and Route 1 Audio. During his time in the US Alex gained teaching experience in New Jersey (US) where he managed a studio for recording artists and production lessons.

Marc

Marc is a DJ, Producer and guitar player with a passion for house music. Marc is a regular at a number of clubs throughout the UK such as Warehouse LDN, Shelter, Canvas and Egg. He's been a guest DJ on many radio shows including Flight FM and Mode. Marc is known for getting creative with his mixing where you can expect to hear a wide range of Tech House, Techno, Garage, House, Breakbeat, Drum and Bass and PsyTrance with deep, funky grooves, dark, gritty basslines and energetic, rolling drums featuring heavily.
