We're thrilled to announce that LSA students now have the chance to learn one-to-one with techno music legend, Saytek. Joseph, aka Saytek, is one of the world's most cherished techno acts and is famous for his live techno performances. In terms of artistry, there is on one that compares to Saytek.

Saytek's Official Biography

Celebrating 20 years of innovative sounds in 2023 is UK live act - SAYTEK. The prolific force in the realms of house and techno continues to deliver stellar sounds year after year, and in the blink of an eye, 20 years have passed since his first-ever live set. An exciting and colourful path has seen SAYTEK travel the world with his hardware, showcasing his sound in all corners of the globe from Montreal to Mumbai, the legendary terrace of Space Ibiza, London’s Fabric, Berlin’s famous Tresor, Awakenings, and Mysteryland in Holland, to more obscure shows such as illegal warehouse parties in Helsinki. While heavily touring, he has also found the time to release 9 albums and over 500 tracks (most recorded live) on heavyweight labels such as Soma, Fabric, TRAX, R&S, Bedrock, KMS, Superfreq, and most recently Carl Cox and Christopher Coe’s Awesome Soundwave. He was described by Cox himself as a "genius" at playing live. Another sign of this would be his anticipated live stream jams, which have racked up tens of millions of views over the years.

This success certainly did not happen overnight, tirelessly developing and evolving his sound, starting out with frequent appearances at illegal parties in London, with the first legitimate gig landing at The End’s sister club AKA on a Tuesday night, a far cry from the multi-thousand capacity stages you might find synonymous with SAYTEK in recent times. Throughout the years, his raw talent has earned him some serious love from the press, including Mixmag and DJ Mag's album of the month, nominated as the best live act in DJ Mag, voted in Germany's FAZE Mag in the top 10 live acts, and much more.

For a limited time, we are offering online music production lessons with Saytek! This means you can learn how to create the techno music of your dreams with one of the most highly respected DJs and producers in the scene.

As the lessons are online (Zoom) you can take them from anywhere in the world! Learn from the comfort of your own home and choose your lesson times from his schedule. (lessons are two hours each | £125)

What You Need For Lessons

Lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate or advanced learners. All you need is Ableton installed on your computer (Standard or Suite Versions) headphones and Zoom. Zoom is a free video conferencing app that allows us to teach online, share audio and share our screen.

Other than learning direct from a techno legend you will benefit from a screen recording of your private class. This means you can re-watch it time and time again and really absorb all of his wisdom. As a prolithic producer and performer Saytek has an incredible amount of experience and insider knowledge to help his students. In additon to your Ableton class, he will be your mentor and help answer any questions you have.
