Ready to take your DJ career to the next level? LSA Records is searching for one incredible upcoming DJ to showcase at our next event. This is a chance to show off your DJ skills, dig into our catalogue, and win a package of prizes designed to help you launch your DJ career.
LSA Records is a growing record label supporting upcoming producers, including home-grown talent from the LSA music production programmes. To enter, create a seamless one-hour DJ mix using only music from the LSA Records catalogue. The best mix will win the ultimate experience: performing their winning set live at the legendary Egg London. In addition, the winner will receive £300 in credit to practice inside the legendary Studio One at London Sound Academy. An experience that is the perfect opportunity to help you prepare for the big day! To top it off, the winner will also receive the coveted 2025 LSA Records DJ Competition Trophy, to commemorate your victory as the LSA Records 2025 Champion.
How to Enter
Entering is simple. Follow these steps:
Craft Your Mix: Create a killer one-hour DJ mix using only tracks from LSA Records releases available on our Beatport here.
Upload It: Upload your mix to SoundCloud, Mixcloud, or YouTube and use the title 'LSA Records 2025 DJ Competition Mix' and then your DJ NAME.
Brand It: Use the official competition artwork above as your upload's cover image.
Submit It: Email the public URL link to your mix to londonsoundacademy@gmail.com and include any additional information you think will help us choose you as the winner. We'd love to read your bio, click your links and see any images of graphics you have. Please only send a link to your mix, not a file.
The Competition Timeline
Mix Submission Deadline: Friday, 12th December 2025
Finalist Announcement: After the deadline, our A&R team will review all entries with the top four DJs asked to submit a video mix for the final stage of the competition.
Winner Announced: The 2025 champion will be revealed on Monday 22nd December, 2025 and awarded the competition trophy!
Judging Criteria
We'll be reviewing your mix entry from start to finish making sure it's club-ready and shows off your DJ skills. Here are some of the ways we'll judge the mix:
Beatmatching - We expect your mix to be flawlessly beatmatched
Harmonics - We want to hear a harmonious mix
Impeccable Timing - Your mix transitions should be timed well
The Perfect Blend - Only exquisite blends and smooth mixes
Creativity and Effects - Add your flavour to the mix using tricks or effects
The Unexpected - How will you make your mix stand out from other entries?
Rules & Eligibility
Please read the following rules carefully before entering:
As the DJ set will be in a licensed venue, you must be 18+ to enter this competition.
You must be available, and eligible to DJ in the UK for the final event at Egg in London. We will schedule a date with the winner when the competition is over.
The mix must be exactly one hour long and consist only of music from the LSA Records catalogue.
